Expanding Access to Education for Ethnic Communities in Vietnam

SFF conducted Ethnographic Research in Ethnic Communities in Vietnam, particularly mountaineers, Co, Co Ho, Co Tu in 2022. Outcome indicated that besides cultural and socio-organizational deficits, no adults of these groups obtained any schooling. A few children attended mainstream primary school until year 2 then returned to the village for domestic work and earning tasks. Based on such findings, SFF built 2 elementary schools and provided wages for teaching staff enabling the children of these villages to attend schooling.
